Hey, everyone! Welcome back to Straight From My Speakers. This week, I'm so excited to share music from the one and only Beyoncé. Her latest album, The Lion King: The Gift, is a tie-in album for the 2019 remake of The Lion King. This album also has a visual component called Black Is King, and it was released in July 2020. Beyonce not only appeared in this film, but she also directed, wrote, and produced it. Black Is King is a Disney+ exclusive, and it's worth getting Disney+ just to watch this beautiful film. Everything about Black Is King is gorgeous, and I believe that it belongs in an art museum. The song I'm featuring on my blog this week is "FIND YOUR WAY BACK" and it is one of the songs from the album. I highly suggest checking out the album as well as the film! Once again, Beyonce has proven that she is Queen.
