Hey everyone! As you know, I'm always on the hunt for new music to listen to and to share with you all. One artist that I have been listening to on REPEAT lately is Mark Kaschak. Not only is he a good friend of mine, but I've also been a fan of his music for at least 5 years now. He is a brilliant singer/songwriter. Mark is not afraid to take chances and pave new paths in the music world. He takes what he loves from a variety of genres to create his own unique sound. From having the vocals of a male version of Lorde to having a sound heavily influenced by Twenty One Pilots, to not being afraid to try rapping, you never know what you're going to get from Mark Kaschak. And that's what I love about his music. His music is never going to feel outdated because he takes what he likes from what's relevant in music and makes it his own.
One of Mark's songs that I've been listening to a lot lately is "Not You (Don't Trying Rapping)." Click on the video to listen. I had the chance to interview Mark on my podcast last week, and it was so much freaking fun. Not only did we play some of Mark's music, but he also shared his thoughts on what it's like to be a musician during this time in the world. The episode will be out THIS FRIDAY! Happy Listening!
